Understand diversity and learn how to be an inclusive designer for digital products.
Develop an understanding of Universal, Inclusive & Accessible design
Learn about accessibility and the need to reduce barriers in the field of technology.
Develop empathy by participating in simulation activities that allow you to experience everyday challenges with disabilities.
Discuss POUR principles and WCAG guidelines.
Learn how to make your design process more inclusive through participatory design and inclusive personas.
Try your hand at doing a basic accessibility-audit, and making your UI & UX designs more accessible.
Evaluate your past work to identify areas of improvement from an inclusion & accessibility point-of-view and learn to discuss recommendations.

Unfortunately not, this workshop talks about advanced topics of accessibility and inclusivity in design. It requires a basic understanding of UX/UI Design and you having worked on a few projects. I don’t know how to use any design softwares
Unfortunately not, this workshop requires you to have moderate to good grasp on the design tools such as Figma or Sketch to take part in the activities and exercises.

Can I attend the workshop online?
No, this is an in-person workshop filled with hands-on activities and exercises createdto provide you with a deep understanding of the concepts being taught and the ability to empathise, not just design.
What do I need for this workshop?
Other than your creativity and curiosity, you’ll be needing a laptop, a smartphone and ideally also, ideally, a past UX design project to improve through the processes you learn here.
What is the batch size?
We’re keeping the batch size limited to a maximum of 10-15 people so that there is quality mentorship and dedicated time for each participant. We would like for you to go back with friends you know and can reach out to at any time :)

How do I plan my travel?
You’re expected to arrive in Panchgani by evening on 27th Oct, 2023, you can plan your departure by evening of 29th Oct, 2023 or later. Do note that there will be a closing party on Sunday night and we would love to have you all there!
